Anchors Aweigh Tarot was established in 2021 and is one of the rare positive things to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Gretchen has had an interest in tarot for many years but began studying it seriously in spring 2020, during the early days of the lockdown. Readings are available in person, virtually, and via email. Anchors Aweigh comes from the Bouncing Souls song and album of the same name, as well as Gretchen's love of all things nautical. About Gretchen

Hi! I'm Gretchen, the owner of Anchors Aweigh Tarot. For years, I've been told that I'm very intuitive and a good listener. Tarot has interested me for a long time, but I finally took the leap to begin seriously studying it in 2020. 

My style of reading is to really get to the heart of my clients' questions and provide as much guidance as I can through a conversation-based approach. I believe tarot is a great tool for self-discovery and brings to light feelings and concerns we sometimes hold on a subconscious level. I strive to provide my clients with an informative but compassionate experience. Tarot has been instrumental in my own self-growth, and I would love to help you in the same way. My background in literature and creative writing gives me a natural knack for storytelling, and I love weaving the cards together to create a meaningful narrative. Outside of tarot, I work full-time as the director of a public library and manage social media for a literary magazine. Prior to the pandemic, I was also involved in the fitness industry.
